Central Scottsdale Assisted Living Reviews
Our Reviews
Great facility. Clean and accommodating. Everyone at Central Scottsdale Assisted Living put a lot of care in the work they do.
My mother lived at the Central Scottsdale Assisted Living care home for over four years. Throughout this time my family and I were very grateful for the excellent care she received.
During our first meeting with the owners, Diana and Ted demonstrated their professionalism and experience with eldercare. Most importantly, their heart for the business and for the residents who live in their home was evident.
They assisted with my mother’s initial transition to their home, welcoming her and helping her to feel comfortable. As the symptoms of her dementia/Alzheimer’s condition progressed, they adapted her care as necessary and with expertise. I especially appreciated Diana’s proactive communication with me and I felt very comfortable asking questions and raising any concerns that arose throughout the various stages of my mother’s health during this time.
Despite the inevitable physical decline involved with her condition, visiting my mother was a positive experience because I witnessed how well she was being taken care of both physically and emotionally: mindy, body, and spirit. I often commented that she was in a “bubble of love” at the CSAL home. Every aspect of care met an excellent standard including: the cleanliness of the home, the appetizing meals residents receive, gentle assistance with hygiene and personal needs, and overall health/medical management. Equally important, was that her care was delivered with kindness, respect, and love.
Central Scottsdale Assisted Living gets it right with both the big things and the little things. The smiles my mother received from her wonderful caregivers meant the world to me. Other touches such as flowers on Valentine’s Day or weekly activities with music or art enriched my mother’s experience.
In the last several months of my mother’s life, CSAL welcomed the integration of hospice services which allowed for my mother to have peace and comfort in her final days.
It’s quite a blessing to be able to say that my mother’s surroundings and care helped bring joy and love into her life, to the very end. My family appreciates this more than words can say.
Diana and her staff are very professional and offer excellent care during the time that we use their facility. Best facility in the Phoenix area.
If you search for seniors care, Central Scottsdale Assisted Living, is a place I highly recommended. Here you find professional caregivers and excellent management. Private rooms and also very good condition to socialize.

Central Scottsdale Assisted Living was an amazing home for my father. He was unsure about living in a group home, but from the very first day he was so thankful for the care and love they offered! My dad was in extreme pain when we brought him to the home and Diana saw to it that he got the medical attention necessary to help relieve some of his pain as soon as possible. Joseph took wonderful care of my dad and was like a "guardian angel" to him and he so appreciated it. Anna's cooking was wonderful and my dad's appetite improved so much while there. Diana is great to work with and her knowledge and expertise shows in her well managed home, and love for each resident. As a family we are all so extremely thankful for the 2 years my dad resided at Central Scottsdale Assisted Living. We know he was in the best place he could have been.
My mother has been a resident at Central Scottsdale Assisted Living for over 5 years. The care she receives there is unsurpassed. The caretakers and the family who run the home are kind and loving to all the residents. The food is lovely and there are a variety of parties as well as entertainment both weekly and seasonal. Tge home is beautiful and in a quiet, nice neighborhood. We are blessed to have found such a nice home for my 100 year-old mother.
My Mom lived at Central Scottsdale Assisted Living for the last two years of her life, when she was no longer capable of living on her own. Diana and her staff there did an amazing job of making sure her needs were met, were kind and patient with her and gave me great comfort knowing she was in good hands. Due to their care, we were able to avoid placing her in a nursing facility and she was able to pass on in a loving environment.
We live far away and were very fortunate to place Ruth in this excellent facility, with an extraordinary staff, delicious home-cooked meals, the highest standards and professionalism, and an amazing culture of caring for elders as revered members of their family. Each resident receives individual care and attention to live as fully and comfortably as they can, and the staff looks for every opportunity to stimulate and enhance the daily lives of the residents. The continuity and abilities of the caregivers allow any illnesses or declines to be identified very early and acted on before they become more serious—this is enormously important. With timely and thorough communications, and the capability to adjust for Ruth’s needs as she declined and through hospice, Central Scottsdale gave us peace of mind and provided Ruth a wonderful home.

From the moment I meet with the owner and her staff I felt comfortable with moving in my Mother. My Mother had severe Alzheimer's and was at the end stage and was already on Hospice. I went everyday to see Mother and just be by her side. I arrived many times unannounced and was always so happy with the comfort that was shown to me and my Mother. The home is beautiful and decorated very tastefully. It did not feel like a institutional facility. It is a home and feels like that for the residents and their families. The staff and owners were always so patient and gentle with her. Her room was clean and had lots of sunshine in the house as well as her room. They have a lovely patio that residents are able to go outside and played trivia and do crafts. They had wonderful opportunities for the residents to talk to one another have a cup of coffee or tea and have a homemade tasty cake or treat. I highly recommend this home as the care your loved one will be shown is unmeasurable.
The staff have been so wonderful in caring for my father. He arrived with Dementia, COPD & other medical issues from a large Memory Care Facility. Anna & Joe have been instrumental in giving my dad the complex care he required. Home cooked meals individual attention and loving care is just what my dad needed. The home is welcoming and beautiful. The bedrooms are private & cozy.
I worked with Diana who is the owner of the group home. She’s very kind & compassionate.
I wish we had placed my father at Central Scottsdale Assisted Living Group Home from the very beginning of his journey.
My wife was diagnosed with younger onset dementia/Alzheimer's . It was difficult finding a care facility for someone in their early 50's. I visited almost every large/small facility in the Scottsdale area. Central Scottsdale Assisted Living was superior to any place in the area. My wife has now been in the home for almost 2 years. The staff/owners have treated her like family and provided a safe environment.
I highly recommend Central Scottsdale Assisted Living.
Diana and the team over at Central Scottsdale Assisted Living have been a pleasure to work with! They run one of the best Assisted Living / Senior Care homes in Scottsdale and give them a solid 5 star rating. Thank you for everything Diana!
